You can advertise your URLs directly using SEARCH ENGINE SUBMITTERs. Most of them are paid services but you can also use free services such as
FREE WEB SUBMISSION.
In any case, your web will need to be optimised as so it will rank higher. It means that you need to use the right keyword for the right web content. Remember people usually will look at the first 2 pages of the search result. If your web listed above that the chances of other looking at your website are lower.

You can also use links from other sites to your website. Just add their specific urls to your sites and yours to their website. The more quality links you attain, the better ranking your sites will receives.

Using Affiliate Programs.

If you have your own product to sell, then this is the strategy for you to use. "Own Product" is the product or services or any resale right product which you had purchased. If you pays decent amount for every sales, you can see your traffic rise exponentially. Off course other people will advertise it for you.

Using Links, Contents and Articles

Remember if you links others to your site, not only you can get better rank in Search Engine but you will also received visitors from your links.
If you have the knowledge to write an articles based on content that related to your site, then put your links in that article and post the content. And let others use that articles at their side. Your urls will automatically link to their site.
